Hello I have a HKC alarm installed with an inertia sensor on the back door. Now my little b****h of a dog keeps setting it off by scratching at it.

Is there a way I can downgrade the sensitivity of the sensor?

If not is it easy to switch this sensor for a magnetic sensor?

Any help will be appreciated . I think k my neighbours hate me now.

    Cheers

You can change the sensitivity in the engineer menu if you have access to that. It's in Zones>Shock Zones. The higher the gross and pulse the less sensitive it is.
If you want to disable the sensor and leave the contact open the sensor and short out the pair wired into the sensor connections.
