ok ill keep this short and sweet. i am being bullied by management and all her croonies are backing her up. I have been told by alot of people i am excellent at my job. Without sounding big headed, i know im good at what i do. The other day she sent me home early because of a disagreement, i stayed calm and left. I felt so intimidated i could return the following morning and have been diagnosed with stressed. there are many other things in the build up that i wont go into, pm me advice cheers

Do you have a union ? If so get onto them about it, sounds like constructive dismissal. Also do a search on boards for bullied in the workplace there would be plenty of advise for you in there..

Just join the union, give it a week, then a sudden issue becomes well an issue.

There are other unions, the one I am with is Mandate.

One thing to do is get evidence of this bullying, keep a diary of dates, what happened etc. Give it time then go see a solicitor about what action to take next.

Also give an example of what has been going on, it will get user on here to share there experiences with you. Chances are one of us will have been in the exact same situation you find yourself in, and can share with you how to work out a solution out of this situation.

The usual approach is to keep a diary of all events times and dates and thoes present.

You can then bring these to a solicitor who will assist you in bringing a case to the appropriate court or rights commissioner depending on your circumstances.

Also a side note(ps not legal advice but some I got in work) sending a person home without instigating proper procedure could be constituted as dismissal or suspension at best which could further enhance any possible future action you decide to take against the company. Best speak to an employment specialist solicitor.

Most companies have a grevience procedure in place. Does your? Again using this course, regardless of its outcome, can enhance any action you may decide to take later on as it could be used to prove against them their lack of people skills

The one thing you must achieve in your circumstance is creating a paper trail that can help you later. Don't forget it's your companies responsibilities to keep good records of everything that you instigate against them internally otherwise any challenge you make against them later could be described as a first strike when in fact it's probably your last straw.
