Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hmm, i'd doubt it D that any of the hotels would do pay as you go for the pulic, my wife is a member of the clarion gym and if she wants to take the young lad for a swim, she has to pay €5 for him. as far as i know, only members can bring guests.

even at that it's only a paddling pool really- 20m, 1m depth... :(

Does anybody have a recommendation for a dry cleaners?

Or are they all stupidly expensive?

Place on Gerard Street (Opposite Bobby Byrnes), is pretty decently priced. Got a king sized duvet done in there for €14 before.

Paschal in Hangers Dry Cleaners in Mount Kennet charges €1 a kilo for a bag wash, he does a fine job of pressing shirts, ties and pants too, though i couldn't quote you a proper price on those... :o

i have a spare one here XS, but to be honest it's the Zyxel one which is a pain in the proverbial to configure for anything beyond basic internet connectivity, (hence why i wouldn't fob it off on Drifter when he was looking for one last week).

you're more than welcome to it, i only use it for testing purposes anyway.

EDIT: you're also welcome to an inspiron 510m (ten year old laptop) if you want it 'cause it's running slower than a two legged dog after upgrading to linux mint 12, and tbh im sick of píssing around with terminal console at this stage on this thing! :(

I did, and am waiting to move over to upc :P

Xsi, perfect thanks :D its only to test it and see if its actually the line or not so I've even more ammo for them :)

Well put together, nicely edited, good content, but once more it's the same local 'celebrities' who get put in, eg Eleanor, celia and rich.

The tourist was a great addition, it should have had more of that. All in all a good effort.

i was thinking of going recently too til i'd seen the prices for it, i'd say the half hour would fly, for €25 though? i just think its way too steep for an individual, perhaps if we could go there on a boards night out instead of a beers and negotiate a group discount, i'd be all for it... :)

It's mary I rag week, I live quite close to Mary I, a group of students are outside singing 'championes, championes, ole, ole, ole'.........I'll show them who the real f**king championé is if I go out to them. Don't they know I've unemployment to stay in bed for in the morning!!!!

They were originally going to try and pass of 'Herb' as a local shopper too but just couldn't work around the Bruins Jersey........

    - In fairness they work put in was immense, footage shot and borrowed from everywhere, seemed very comprehensive and the end result looked fantastic.

Could have almost fooled me ;)

    On the LCO Video

Somebody had mentioned to me about the cyclists at 7:18 that they are cycling on the M7 Motorway. Just in case anybody else spotted this, that video must be pretty old because judging by the broken yellow line that road was still a HQDC(just passed the Cappamore flyover on the bypass) and was not a Motorway so not illegal to be cycling there.(Even if by right they should be in the hard shoulder for safety).

    Definately a good video though.

I am on that bus route, live near childers road and that bus service is dreadful, thankfully I am driving since june but my heart goes out to the people at the bus stop on childers road, many times have I stood there for up to an hour trying to entertain my son, waiting for that bus

It's gotten fierce bad lately. The last few weeks I've been waiting anything between 20 minutes and an hour.

Have they cut back on the service or what?

Was at the Market this morning. Very enjoyable and it was full of tourists as well. The food offering looked great this morning. Was only passing time whilst getting new tyres so should have brought more money. :(

Also, got a Samsung Tablet yesterday. Great thing when it works properly.
