Not entirely flat, and showers are forecasted but tomorrow may be the first day the sprinters' teams have it their own way. Should be a straight up fight between Cavendish, Bouhanni and Greipel, although Kristoff, Sagan, Degenkolb and of course Sam Bennett will be fancying their chances to feature well.

    Oddschecker: Cavendish 5/4, Greipel 4/1, Kristoff 6/1, Sagan 7/1, Bouhanni 7/1, Degenkolb 14/1, Bennett 40/1

Sam Bennett has beaten both Bouhanni and Degenkolb this year. I hope he gets a good leadout.

If your first taste of bike racing has been the last few days then you've had a great introduction.

No rest for the weary: the wind is battering everything in its way right now. Looks like a crosswind for most of the day. #TDF2015

The one big plus for Sam this morning is he is after an easier day on the cobbles than most of his competitors. Cav, Bouhanni and Degenkolb were all involved near the end yesterday while Sam was chugging along in the gruppetto. Hopefully he will benefit from that today

Like this from the Cycling Podcast , KIlometre 0 on domestiques ( 3rd one down). Nice story by Matt White on ice cream. And an indication from Andrew McQuiad on wages.

Just in case anyone hasn't heard it

Looks like there could be cross winds...

Forecast is for gusting up to 50 km/hr and there isn't much in this area to shelter the riders.

I think Astana and Saxo might try and put some time into Froome et al.

    Wish I had EuroSport.

Will have to wait for TG4 and ITV4.

I hope it gets hectic today.

You know what time the highlights go up on the app at? Got it last year for the Giro and ended up being a complete waste cos the highlights weren't aired until atfer 11pm

Bouhanni and a good few of his team mates just crashed and were sent flying into a ditch. Bouhanni abandons with a suspected broken wrist.

They are up and riding again

Need to go to Eurosport website for questions on the app
