Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I read this when it came out a few weeks ago. If you sign up for the RAIB alerts, you won't miss anything. Alerts are pretty irregular so don't worry about getting 'spammed' with them.

    In summary, some in NIR have a blasé attitude to the rules associated with track possessions, how they interface with level crossings and the reporting of incidents.

    In presumption, rather. It's not the case that trains and other rail vehicles always have the right of way at level crossings? It was that way when I was younger, and was always taught (even by the media) to stop at a crossing no matter what and utterly make sure it's clear before even attempting to cross.

    The crossing has barriers and warning lights. It's not one with gates.


    I'm guessing that they didn't have level crossings with such accoutrements when you were around these parts last?


    I can't imagine you lasting too long on the roads if you employed that technique at such crossings.
