Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

heard that potato juice was the original propellant used by Diesel in his engines, also saw a Japanese watch powered by connecting to postato on some TV programme some years ago.also potatoes are preferred option for exhibitors of Mains Electric Fencers to demonstrate their shock strength.as well were often used in my youth to prevent courting couples starting their cars in hurry by stuffing them up the exhaust pipes while they were "occupied".
    useful items them spuds

Maybe that mechanic misunderstood the more modern term " chipping" the ignition/ timing and put the whole spud in for good measure!

Could not resist ,,,,, I know it's old time points & condenser tech on that old days Land Rover ,,,,, I'll get me coat now, exit stage left.:D
