    Hi All,

I am no diy genius by any means so take it handy on me,

We recently bought a 3 bed end of terrace house which still has the old oil burner that was decommissioned before i was born by the looks of it.

My question is can i insert a stove in to the old flue.

would it affect the structure if i was to know a hole in the wall so the stove would be in the middle. Would love to have one in before christmas if possible as the house can get very cold any help & advice would be great thanks a mill

Very difficult to advise without pictures but I would say No to using the exhisting flue and as for structural integrity of you house I really could not say.In all honesty I think you would be aswell off to contact some plumbers who specialise in stove installs and they could give you more acurate advice as they will be able see the whole picture
