Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For some reason I can see this being a bit of a nothing week with no major movement in the rankings for most.

Same as most weeks then so! Everyone seems to have 3 City, Studge & Suarez, Hazard and an Everton defender guess there is a bit of room for a couple of differentials but not much.

    Went with this...

    Mannone
    --Coleman---Ward---Zabaleta-
    Lallana-Yaya-Henderson-Hazard
    -Sturridge--Lukaku--Suárez(c)-

    Boruc
    Barkley
    Evra
    Olsson

Very foolish from Fonte to give away that penalty. Shoulda captained Yaya :pac:

    City mean business today....

I'm just glad the city game is up first so that Yaya and Dzeko can get their demolition job out of the way early.

Please tell this is some kind of sick joke right?

I think the research proposal I'm trying to do will be more enjoyable than this GW :(

No joke.....Everyone bar you must have Yaya bar you at this stage

Just kinda dawnwed on me that I intentionally have both Puncheon and Snodgrass starting this week, benched Miralles and Coleman....

If Everton didnt have a DGW next week he'd be gone

Yaya, I end up saying it every week but he's some man!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,254 ✭✭✭✭km79

I may well captain Yaya next week.
    Even if I have aguero.
Also with the amount of penalties he has scored why would he be taken off them at this late stage....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,810 ✭✭✭✭jimmii

I thought I was the last to bring in Yaya this morning! Have Dzeko too nice little bonus!

Already have next week set up with him captain!

Well that was a crap start...my dzeko fgs bet is gone after 2 mins and he gets an assist for a rival, a mirror image of last week v arsenal.

Mr. P have you *still* not bought Yaya?

Depending on Aguero, Dzeko is looking like an option for next week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Dagnammit woulda preferred a Silva assist had Deco not been taken down and went on to score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

My rival took Lukaku out for Rodriguez. He surely can't be checking the fixtures ahead.

Its just so ridiculous. Everything seems to go his way! Never seen a player have such a ridiculous conversion rate for a prolonged period of time it just seems impossible!

Yeah right, like I'd do something sensible and rational like that. You're funny :pac:

That is a bizarre one! Some people just seem to look at the next weekend and no further next week he'll be like ah ffs what have I done!

Yaya is a king among men. Had never even heard of him till last season (my knowledge of football was limited until I joined FPL on a whim last year), but he is top class.

He is definitely getting the captaincy next week.

On college nights out a couple of years back, a group of lads in the chipper would always sing about Yaya Toure and I never had any idea why. Had about 100 students belting out 'Yaya Yaya Toure' one night.

    :pac:

Should be a good captaincy poll for once; have it Lukaku C, Yaya VC currently.

The thing about Lukaku is that you should *never* captain him when a majority does. Or even a large minority. That's the spell of death for goal scoring for him.

I'll probably give it to to Yaya. He's in great form and with Aguero maybe back I forsee many goals. Hopefully the Pool/City game is a goalfest with Liverpool winning. (As a neutral, I've developed a soft spot for Liverpool.)

    Not looking good for J-Rod

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,543 ✭✭✭sionnach

    Rodriguez crocked

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,747 ✭✭✭Ziegler1988

I should be happy since I transferred JRod out a fortnight ago and my rival brought him in last GW for a 13 pt haul, but he's my homie for getting me so many points for so cheap.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

    Bad injury to J-Rod.

I'm in the same boat after my opponent somehow inexplicably did that transfer this week.

He's now going to be without 2 of his front 3 next week as he has Rooney.

Just watching the penalty replay there and while dzeko did make the most of it, it was a clear penalty.
I can understand a player timing a tackle wrong and giving away a penalty but what on earth would posses you to flick your leg back like that? Lucky for him this result isn't important to Southampton as he's really let them down.

Lots of J-Rod to Lukaku transfers this week I think.

No Lallana involvement but thank fook the City clean sheet is gone.

Now for Silva to score two, Lallana to score and it to end 3-2!

Nooooo Hart cleanie. He went the right way too :(
