Yeah this season is going great up to now. Hopefully I can keep that up 'till GW38 (and won't experience many 30 pointers on the bench like GW 24! - would have made the 3 digits club for my first time ever!). Only have a <10 pts margin in my private league though!

The last two seasons I had kept my WC 'till late. I took advantage of the late DGWs and got weekly and/or monthly prizes. This year decided to play it early (1st int. break) following a strategy many advocate here. It has worked great and helped me build my team value as well. Also have to say I've played it safe as much as I could. No real differential. Followed the FFS captain poll most weeks. Tried to get in all the performing players and ditch the non performing ones at the "best" time (didn't always worked of course) but never tried fancy choices as I used to.

We have a different enough team though so should be interesting. As it stands it's: I'd say if you keep him it'll be your Van persie vs my Sturridge + my "big" def. (though Azpi & Coleman will play each other and VP will be away to CP so you may be on to something ).

Looking at GW3O man utd vs Liverpool and Spurs vs Arsenal. Chelsea are away to Villa and City away to Hull. It will be a low enough scoring week and no obvious choice for captain will m,ake it more interesting.

Fixtures make no difference really. City 6 arsenal 3, city 4 utd 1, city 6 spurs 0, liverpool 5 arsenal 1, spurs 0 liverpool 5, liverpool 4 everton 0. Arsenal and spurs is usually very high scoring. Liverpool Utd with the attackers on display and the defenders liverpool have should also be a high scoring game.

I had another poor week in a seemingly never ending run of poor weeks! I didn't expect i would do so well against you, your team is very strong across the board! There's still another leg to play i guess but that's a healthy gap you've set between us now!
