climote and App for heating.

    Just wondering is climote the only available unit for turning on heating from your phone?

    Seen its quoted as 399 Euro.

    Nest is another unit . Don't know much about it but people on here will.

    Climote doesn't use wifi. There is a sim card inside. So you can turn it on by just texting. When using the app to control the heating on the phone the sever sends the text for you.

    If you want heating on/off. It's basic but works. I've one wired into my living area zone at home. Just turn in from app and it works. I haven't used it once

    If it's just the one zone you have then the Nest would be what I would go for. You can get it supplied and installed for about €350 and it has more features than the climote
