Bit random, but does anyone know of any particular good artists in NYC? I'm looking for someone who's light handed and perhaps a bit abstract. I just thought someone around here might know who's considered good over there?

Gene Coffey is the artist I'd want to visit in New York. https://www.facebook.com/gene.coffey.56?fref=ts

I emailed before and he works off a 6 month waiting list, so unless you're going next year you've probably missed him.

Last Rites is another good one but I don't know how much they'd fit the light/abstract criteria. Probably another long waiting list though. http://www.lastrites.tv/

    But yeah, Gene Coffey.

Wow yeah Gene's stuff is exactly what I was looking for. Yeah heading over in 3 months so probably won't get a spot...

Shame. The shop is http://tattooculture.net/ could be worth sending an email anyway, might be able to get your name on a cancellation list just in case.

Don't know any others over there.
