All station to station messages from all data sources and a corresponding position report are available on this port. All other packets are filtered out. This is useful for clients that need to conserve Internet link bandwidth but want access to the global station to station message stream for Internet to RF messaging.

PS - you will actually find that it's a "Tier 2 javAPRSSrvr Servers"
messaging your pc, which roughly translates as some low level aussie national server is sening you info you probably don't need
