Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm not a fan of fake tan, and certainly wouldn't wear it on nights out. I've seen girls out wearing it and they go so far away from their own skin colour it just looks ridiculous. It looks really tacky when its patchy.

The only time I've ever worn it was to attend weddings etc., and I had it done professionally and as close to my own skin colour as possible.

i've never used it and never will

i think it looks dirty and skanky, and whenever i see women wearing it i want to tell them to go for a shower and get clean

What's your opinion on it.. does it make the Irish lassies look more attractive on a night out, or just look like Oompa-loompas?

Was in donnington over the weekend and all the young'uns that had fake tan on looked like they shat themselves bad...

It looks terrible. I hate it.

I make it a point of mine to slag girls who wear the Tango/Oompa Loompa style fake tans. What is their reasoning for wearing it?

What I find is the worst is when girls go out in the middle of December with the fake tan caked onto themselves.

    Two reasons why:
    1. It looks terrible.
    2. Even if the tan looked anyway near real, FFS, it's December! Nobody in Ireland get's a tan in December!

I'm finding it hard to decide between options 2 and 4

    Fake Tan on Women...

    - Looks good (I'm a man)
    - Oompa Loompa Lumpedy Doo (I'm a man)
    - Looks good (I'm a woman)
    - Oompa Loompa Lumpedy Doo (I'm a man)
    - Atari Jaffa Cakes

No 4, I'm a friend of the other man? in no 2?

In London we've got people of just about every hue, from white as a ghost to black as the ace of spades. Maybe I'm just not as observant as most people but I don't get bothered when I meet a woman with fake tan. In fact I hardly ever notice.

No offence to any woman who use fake tan but it looks ridiculous, you can always tell and you have to wonder why a girl wants to alter her skin colour in the first place by artificial means, go all natural with a little bit of make up, it's the best:cool:

What really gets guys is perfume imo, when you get that hint of perfume standing next to a woman on a night out or whatever it instantly draws you in, you soon come to associate the scent with the girl, it's hard to explain but that's what I like most:pac::pac::p

Girls, ye look way better looking like this rather than looking like this

honestly, wearing the orange doesnt make you look healthy, it makes ye look like a walking dirty protest. and dont believe the "if its done right" thing, even if its evenly applied its still looks fake and glaringly so.

Ladies of Boards, enjoy your pale blue hue, celebrate those freckles.

    Be pale, be proud

I can always tell when someone's wearing fake tan. It looks like you've smeared a #7 on the Bristol Stool Scale all over yourself, with the most congealed and streaky bits near your extremities and over your hands. The mere sight of it makes me want to vomit. I cannot believe people who wear it truly believe it enhances how they look. :pac:

I hate it too myself. It's very very unnatractive along with the overkill of makeup.

I actually like Irish-looking women. Either pale-ish skin with some colour or freckles- there's a difference between tan and having a bit of colour in you. It'd be great if so many women would stop trying to look like this fake American look like the one GirlOfGlass linked to.

That's when it looks well on someone, it's fake but it looks natural.

the funniest thing was on the sunday about 4pm when the rain started, everywhere you looked the fake tan was washing off them, lol, wouldn't mind had they gone without they would have got a good tan on the friday/saturday as those two days had plenty of sun, i nearly boiled in the pit during the megadeth set
