audio on SkY Sports HD

    Hi

    the audio on Sky Sports HD is defaulting to NAR and I have to change back it to Dolby Digital manually every time I change channel.

    Is there anyway to have it at Dolby Digital by default

    It's like that on alot of the SD channels and these HD ones

    RTE One HD - English/NAR

    Sky Arts 1 HD - NAR/Dolby

    Yes it's very hit & miss & a pain to have to change the setting each & every time you switch to that channel.

    RTE One HD: defaults to English. Option to change to NAR

    RTE 2 HD: defaults to English. No option to change

    TG4 HD: defaults to English. No option to change

    UTV HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    BBC One HD:defaults to English Dolby Digital

    BBC Two HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Sky One HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Sky Living HD defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Sky Arts 1 HD: defaults to NAR. Option to change to English Dolby Digital

    Sky Arts 2 HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Fox HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Discovery HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    History HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    National Geographic HD: defaults to NAR. Option to change to English Dolby Digital

    Nat Geo Wild HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Crime & Investigation HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Sky News HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Setanta HD: defaults to English. No option to change

    ESPN HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Eurosport HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Eurosport 2 HD: defaults to English Dolby Digital

    Setanta Sports 1 HD: defaults to English. No option to change.

    Sky Sports 1 HD: defaults to NAR. Option to change to English Dolby Digital

    Sky Sports 2 HD: defaults to NAR. Option to change to English Dolby Digital

    Sky Sports 3 HD: defaults to NAR. Option to change to English Dolby Digital

    Sky Sports 4 HD: defaults to NAR. Option to change to English Dolby Digital

    I have quoted your reply to UPC REPS to see if they can get all channels to default to Dolby Digital when available

    All UK HD channels now have Dolby as default, none of the Irish HD have them, just English as stated above

    Yep, they seem to have sorted it out now. Sky Arts 1 HD, National Geographic HD & Sky Sports 1 to 5 HD now all default to English Dolby Digital instead of NAR.
