Which USB Dongle for Dovado Tiny AC

I am looking at buying a ZTE MF823 to go with my Dovado Tiny AC. From the compatibility chart this appears to be fine with no asterisk (*). However the manual states that router will only work in LIM mode for CWID modems. The MF823 is a CWID modem and uses its own network layer. Anyone know what the story is or have a Tiny…
