Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great pictures looks like a very good turnout, would have loved to have seen that M3 in person.

That BMW is registered as 320i (Because they didn't know what's that) but it has engine size changed to 3.2 in tax office so no cheap tax for it...

I checked up on cartell and mywheels yesterday and I was confused at first 320 with 3.2 litre engine. No cheap tax is right. Most who would do a conversion like that would not change engine size and keep getting the cheap tax.

I hope whoever bought that R8 got a hefty discount considering it must have been an end of line model.

Someone on here probably knows the full story, but I'm guessing that Audi South Dublin had to register an R8 in 2015, so registered this one themselves or sold privately at a knock-down price (under 170k)! The net result being that someone other than Audi will make a profit, if they can sell it.

"PrestigeCarBuyer is proud to offer this nearly Audi R8...."

    Not a private sale then.

About two weeks ago I saw a E90 Touring M3.....
It had UK plates and was in a bright purple colour. It looked like the conversion was very good and had everything that a proper M3 should have. I couldn't get a picture as I was driving in the M50 when it passed me.

    It looked deadly

    A 2.0 TDi RS Audi..Lovely job.

I doubt anyone has actually seen all them IS250s tbh, i'm more inclined to think they were 220Ds, I had my car tracked today and the guy said nice Lexus, dont see many petrols, least he knew his stuff.

Unfortunately I couldn't bring myself to take a pic of an old Lexus but was behind this in traffic this evening.

I think you're trolling with that comment though. You know they are about, they've been shown to be more common than the equivalent German saloons.

Are you aware one of your "proper Jags" is a diesel?

The main problem with cars like this is the people who buy them. If no one bought them, the manufacturers might get the hint!

Ah it's becoming a nuisance reading the posts. I'm not even sure who is saying what without pressing quote myself and looking at the bad tags.

Yeah, but I rarely do quotes properly. I think if I had to quote all the quotes people quoted me as quoting for the last month I would have spontaneously combusted by now.

but can we seriously keep this civilized and on what we saw today/recently etc, seriously.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't know who he was quoting a lot of his posts it looks like he was quoting himself.
