Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Can play movies on my netbook... maybe not hi-def but standard def movies are fine

    You can watch movies on any old PC, maybe not in hi def alright, but that thing will play movies with ease.

    Don't forget that the res of this screen is quite a bit higher than any netbooks

    :rolleyes: even in an AMD 5x86 on windows95, you can watch vcd/dvd movies, why will it be impossible with the netbooks? lol

    That resolution seems to be the new standard for netbooks, and is nothing too amazing. So long as it's not Hd content it will be fine.

    Using CoreAVC, 720p playback is no problem. With that said, I would recommend anyone looking for a low-cost, low-powered HTPC, to seriously consider an ION based system, such as the Acer Aspire Revo R3600 posted in BA recently.
