Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I made the scoolboy error of leaving my soaked golf bag, rain gear and shoes etc in the boot of the car for a few days resulting in the whole car smelling like there was a dead body stored in it.

    Could anybody recommend an air freshner that will definitely work, ive tried a few things n nothing seems to work. Feel like throwing up whenever i get in the car.

    Get one of those donut things they put in urinals and leave it in the boot for a few days. It'll clear the smell.

    Dry the boot out as best as you can if you havent already. You can get moisture absorbing crystals from the likes of halfords.
    Then steam clean the boot.
    Use crystals to re dry the boot.
    This should kill the bacteria which cause the smell and then a blast of anti bacterial spray will sort you. If the smell has been in your car for a while it might be worth replacing your pollen filter as this can sometimes absorb smells.

    1001 no vac, now rebranded as carpet freshhttp://www.1001carpetcare.co.uk/index.php/1001-products/carpet-fresh-new did the job for me on some manky yokes. Simoniz car deodoriser and disinfectant also good. Havent seen either in a while tho.
