Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if anyone here follows the BBVA Liga (Spanish 1st Division) in any way?

I'vw been a supporter of Tenerife for 5-6 years and they're pushing for promotion this year up to La Liga..

Anyone else in here follow anyone?

Ive always had a soft spot of Malaga and its good to see them doing so well this season, looks like theyll be promoted and maybe even be crowned champions, although I havent seen Numancia this season, are they clear favourites to win?

Yeah they've been on top for most of the season.

Strange such a small club does so well. There stadium only holds 15-20,000 people...

I know, but at the same time its just as shocking when you look at Villareal, the El Madrigal only holds 23,000. Less than Tenerife's stadium if I remember correctly! Have you ever been to the stadium? I stayed in Tenerife for a summer when I was little but never visited the stadium.

Yeah I know very suprised Villareal have the money they have with the small stadium...

Was there once - its in Santa Cruz on the northern part of the island - good atmosphere - especially against Las Palmas :D

Bit of a soft spot for Nàstic de Tarragona but I haven't really been following them this season. Saw them play Barça in the Camp Nou last season and even though they were outclassed, they kept fighting til the end and played some really nice football. That's something I really like about the Spanish league compared with the EPL. Even the teams at the bottom of the table try to play football, rather than just parking the bus and hoping for a draw.

Just checked there - Numancia's capacity is only 9100. Thats less than 90% of gaelic grounds in the country!

Jaysus, they'll have a torrid time in La Liga with a stadium that size.

I know - where do they get their revenue!? They must have some good players on peanuts!
