Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Redundancy calculation and pension

    I'm trying to figure out whether employer contributions to a PRSA should be included when arriving at the gross weekly pay for the purpose of calculating a redundancy payment? Is it at the discretion of the employer as to whether the pension contribution should be included? Any feedback would be appreciated

    In short no, I've been made redundant in the past and it was based on gross pay, not any other contributions employers made that were "Benefits"

    Any contribution made by your employer which is taxed as a benefit-in-kind should be included in calculating your gross weekly wage for the purposes of your redundancy pay.

    Is the PRSA contribution taxed as a BIK?

    does anyone know if you have work full time for 4 years and have worked part time for 1 year and you are currently working part time do you qualify for redundancy for full or part time work or can this be neogiated
