Not an everyday occurrence (not around here anyway..much) but Charles Darwin, the man who gave rise to the importance of genetics in natural selection chose to marry a first cousin.

    A line in a song:
"You're nothing like diversity without equality"
    and the next line:
"Your crew is full of more f*ggots than greek mythology"

If only it had been Gregor Mendel and not Darwin. That would have been ironic. :D

I find irony hilarious. There's something beautiful about it, it's like the world's way of mocking you.

    An example:

Someone looking for their glasses. They would be so much better equipped to find them if they were wearing them. :D

Any other situations which you find funny?

Inb4 "The catholic church preaching morality" F*ck off if you want to bash the church, do it somewhere else.

That's not irony, that's a Steve Buscemi quote.

    Unfortunate.

Now, if they were dancing to keep the spirit of the band alive, and it was their dancing that caused the plane to crash? That would have be ironic.

This was the original album cover for their new album before the plane crashed.

    More freaky than ironic though.

Lol, because... government industrial policy gave rise to the internet and propelled advances in computer technology, advances in fibre optics, and created communication satellite tech (USSR too) way beyond where it would have been?

And you call people who consider the merits of models of development that don't subscribe to the discredited 'Washington Consensus' as drones.

    Now that's* irony.

    *I think.
