Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

More information required. Why are you moving?

You can't just move to Dubai for an extended period of time without a job/visa.

How long do you plan on staying for?

I've found this with a lot of people and a lot of friends. "Ahhh I think I'll move to Dubai and make some money for a few years!!" If only it was that easy!

Excuse me if this comes across as ignorant but the OP sounds young and looking to travel rather than work and look for experiences. Dubai is NOT the place to do it. Yes it's a very cool city but unless you've got a wealthy somebody funding your time there it'll be hard to go and live the chilled experienced ridden lifestyle. It's expensive, very expensive.

In terms of experiences what are you looking to get, life experiences or work experiences. You'll probably get a little of both but if you're looking for the life experiences try going a little further East I think. Work experiences no doubt are to be had but you'll need experience before you even get to Dubai and as above visas and a job. And a job that'll pay you enough to be able to live and socialise.

Other than that it's a great place. Best of luck if that's your decision but maybe do a bit more research. Sounds like you're going on a whim and it sounds like a cool place, but apologies if I've taken that up incorrectly.

^^^^ agree! its not a hardship location anymore but it still isn't somewhere to move to on a whim. I think you should at least visit before considering moving.
