im thinking of getting this laptop in a few weeks. its out of stock right now but its priced ar around 680 euro(my maximum budget) seems to be the perfect laptop for my price.

anyone have it?whats it like?any better laptops out there for the same price?it hasnt got the best screen resolution..does it even matter?

usb 3.0
1tb hdd
8gb ram

^^^ all sounds perfect to me. im sure someone knows of a better one though?

will use it for general use
lots of bluray movie/music downloads
football manager, id LIKE to be able to play games like Cod, counter strike etc
maybe some photoshop
and various random stuff

i plan to own it until it dies on me.

I don't have the link right now, but on Simply Acer they have a 5755G with 8GB RAM, i5 processor and 500GB HDD for just over €600, including shipping.

thanks for the help to the other guys but i think i have my heart set on the lenovo. i now have a different website to buy it from incase its out of stock on my original link still

No, the GT 630M will not allow you to play "high end games", regardless the amount of memory.

For that you'll need a GT 650M or better.

Purchased a Z580 last week and very happy with it. Only minor criticisms are that its not the lightest and the screen could be brighter. Other than that its been working very well and didnt come with too much stuff that had to be removed. Got mine for E630 (with coupon) including a 2 year extended warranty from the Lenovo website.

lenovo cashback is only for Uk address WITH UK bank account.

Also i think its even finished since the 26/11 if you got to lenovo terms. So saveonlaptops shouldnt have that offer still up (maybe im wrong but I think thatw as closing date)
