Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi girls

    This is a major long shot! Was at a wedding couple weeks ago and a guest had a beautiful knee length sleeveless vintage style chiffon yellow dress that came up to neck and had three cream buttons down the bust area.

    I asked her briefly and she told me she got it in a shop in Dublin, possibly vintage shop im not quite sure...this was the end of the night :rolleyes:

    It was soooo beautiful, and fab with blue accessories. I would really love it. i have searched high & low on the net for even something similiar but cant find it.

    This is a long shot but would anyone know what i am talking about or seen it about Dublin/anywhere?? I would be forever greatful. Thanks.

    If it was a real vintage dress, it was probably a once off and you won't be able to get another.
    Lots of Vintage shops in temple bar if you want to have a look.
    Also think there is a vintage market just off top of dame street on Saturday.

    There is (was?) A shop in clerys that did kind of some upstyled vintage dresses, some sewer quite nice.

    Also saw a yellow chiffon dress in oasis recently.

    The thing is it didnt look to vintagy if that makes sense and i am not sure if she said it was vintage or not, drinks in at that stage!

    It was very Kate Middleton girly like dress. I dont live near Dublin so wont be able to check..oh well maybe its not meant to be but its so cute i would love love to find it!

    Anyways if anyone sees something similiar, please let me know x

    Was it a light yellow with buttons up the front? I have an image of one that Kate wore in my head bit can't think of where it's from atm

    French Connection have one that sounds exactly what you're looking for. It's not on their website but I tried it on instore yesterday so I know it's there :-)

    Try Georges street arcade, there are a couple of shops in there that sell vintage dresses, you might get what you're looking for. Good luck !
