Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Question from a recent IO survey asked if I thought that due to the Coronavirus

"People would go back on the fags"

I'd love to know who writes half of these surveys. Questions are appalling at times and the amount of surveys I get where they have employed someone who can barely spell to make them is ridiculous.

I got asked in a survey recently if I had ever used telepathy or holographic projection as a way of keeping in touch with family. And they were deadly serious about it.

I was 80% through a red c survey and my phone rang, went to open the survey again on my email and it’s gone, I seem to remember redc allow you to continue from their site but nothing is showing as yet
Anyone any ideas how long it may take ?

This happens to me all the time. If I open the survey through the Gmail app and get a call ill get kicked out and cant continue . Sometimes if I copy the link into chrome on the phone I'll get back in. Other times using an incognito window or chrome on a laptop will allow me to continue

I tried opening the Email link straight away but it said it was closed, tried again a couple of hours later and it went back to where I was before the call came in

The last few weeks I've screened out of every direct RedC survey offered but been able to do partner ones fine. Wonder what demographic shift I've undergone without noticing!

I'm the opposite.RED C ones are mainly fine but partner ones (mainly Cint) I'm always screened out.But I'm also on Triaba (which uses a lot of Cint surveys)which mostly go ok for me.Is there a conflict here I wonder?

So glad I swerved that one, when I saw 120 minutes I thought I was seeing things

The 120min €4 survey was on my dashboard for about 10 days. When i clicked on another survey on my dashboard I was rerouted back to the €4 survey every time. Finally today I tried the €4 survey(it was from Cint) and was screened out.Perfect, and did three other surveys today. No signe of this 120 €4 survey.Suits me fine.

Lol. Same as that. Feckin' thing was annoying me for weeks. When I eventually gave in seeing I've nothing else to be doing for the foreseeable, it screened me out straight away and started giving me more lucrative ones again.

I am contact them, 2 times but no answer.Do you know why?

Because I am lost €10 on Life points , I cash out my money everytime when i can on Triaba and Mobrog, but after a dont have any surveys for next few days.Is this conected with those payments?

Well, weirdly I finally got a reply from them today...only 9 months after I emailed them! That's gotta be a record for slowest customer service... they must be working from home and bored.

Cheques are issued on the 1st of each month and take 10 to 14 days to arrive so expect it around mid April

a word of warning bmc58 as soon as reach 10euro with I 0 cash out immediately
they have a habit of saying when it mounts up that they are unsatisfied with your replies and refuse to pay
they left me without 80plus euro and I am nt the only one

    Just got this from RedC:
    Dear RedCLive Member,

Thank you for your continuous support. Your opinions are important to us and we are happy to have you in our panel.

You have now reached our 50 points threshold for payment. As you are aware we normally send payments out to panellists by cheque. In the current circumstances surrounding Coronavirus Outbreak and subsequent lockdown, we can’t do this, as it would be a danger to staff having to process and handle the cheques. We also don’t want to send out documents to you either if we can help it.

As such, at least for the duration of the crisis, we will be sending out your rewards in digital/virtual card format. This is the quickest way for us to get you rewards at this time, without also set up security and ask for and have to hold your bank details. The digital cards will be sent to you by email from RED C, the cards created by EML Payment Group. If you receive an email from us, with a link to your digital credit card, you can be assured that this is legitimate. The cards can be used for any payment that can be made online or over the phone, in exactly the same way as a physical card, but can’t be used in store.

There is a little set up time involved in getting the digital cards up and running, so bear with us, we should have them sent out to in the next 1-2 weeks.

We hope that you are all keeping safe during Covid-19, and thank you again for all your input helping us to continue to deliver the opinions of the people of Ireland at this time.

    Regards

    The RedCLive Team

Spend it online or pay a bill with it if you have nothing to buy, you can add cards to utilities like electric Ireland for example

I dont see why REDC couldnt of allowed these cards to be used in supermarkets, that is how most people are paying now anyway. wouldnt it be better to spend it in your local supermarket or shops than online with amazon, the money would go back into the local economy and not to amazon.

They don’t want to post physical cards out at the moment and that’s understandable so virtual card is better than not getting paid.
You can spend it with Tesco online or SuperValu online or if you have a monese account you can too that up and then spend it in store, might work with revolut too I’m not 100% sure
    It’s not limited to amazon

Well it's an online card so how would you propose it could be used in store?

Quick look at ELM Payments shows that you can add a card to Apple, Google or Samsung Pay so could be used in store that way for those who have the right setup.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,678 ✭✭✭OmegaGene

If anything this digital card is a good payment method going forward because we won’t have to wait for cheques to clear, and for myself I won’t have to drive 30 miles round trip to the bank lol

what if you wanted to save the 50 euro? this is forcing you to spend it online.

So would you be happy for them to send you a One4All voucher for €46 (taking the €2 charge for the card and €2 for standard post off) or €41.50 (taking the €2 charge for the card and €6.50 for registered post off) instead of the current option of you receiving the €50 digital card?

No it isn’t forcing you to spend it online, take a minute and read the thread properly about all the ways you can spend it in store almost anywhere
Apple Pay, Google pay the list is endless
