Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm not sure they(Russian Air Forces) use the transponders, I know from my experience when I was in service in Polish Air Forces, one time Russian military plane was returned before it reached polish air border because he hadn't the transponder. But I saw Russian civilian planes like Il-76 or Airbus over the Poland(i.e.).
Another thing, we were watching Russian military planes from Chernyakhovsk only on ours primary radars, they were never seen on the secondary radars, it means they never used the transponders and you could not watch them on these kind of radars like flightradar

Me too recently. I noticed that Dundalk was mentioned on radar virtuel as a 'new' data supplier, coincidentally I haven't been able to get it on Google....

    Bye, Barry

It has been offline for the last week. I have a feeling that it might not be coming back as it looks like they have hooked up to flightradar24 instead. It would be nice if they could do both.

Was checking this out and its amazing but i can't seem to find out where the flight took off and its destination. How do i get this info, it comes up straight away on RadarVirtuel. tia

Edit; Ok just discovered that not all aircraft have departure and destination details available.

Sometimes, when I watch the web site like http://www.flightradar24.com/ I think how easy is to watch planes. It was not easy to see our ( I mean polish) fighters when I was in service in the air force. It was realy hard job to keep them on the radar screen. And when we lost them from our screens it was always the same question from the high command: Where they are?! Where they are???!!!
It was only one answer: (F**k, F**k,F**k) I can not see them sir :)
