    Hi Folks,

Looking to book a weekend away next week for the girlfriends bday. Figure while she's in the spa I could get a round in. Could anyone recommend a good golf/spa resort in Leinster?

    Cheers

Brooklodge Spa & Macreddin Golf Course would be my vote.
Both the course and hotel are excellent.

They are not the one resort but you can fall out of your room onto the course and they do offers for Spa & Golf packages.

You will find cheaper out there but with a deal it's great value for money.

I know you mentioned Leinster, but my gf and I spent a few days in Fota in November and it was fantastic.

The golf course in the heritage is abysmal, concrete bunkers and weeds, maybe the spa is nice but if it was me the golf needs to match the spa!

Wasn't the last time we played there a few weeks ago. Constant work being carried out now.

You could go for Farnham Estate in Cavan. Was I up there at the start of the week and it was very nice indeed. Food in the restaurant was class too

Seafield outside Gorey is ment to have a nice spa. Played the course once and enjoyed it. But I'd say Macreddin would be a good option too.

I actually forgot the one on my own doorstep! Hodson Bay Hotel have a fantastic spa and Athlone GC is right next door. Tough course but worth it.

Wasn't sure if it had a Spa.
If OP is interested, there's a groupon deal for Hudson bay at present.
