Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

Wondering if anyone knows of any auto electricians in the sligo area or wider that are able to travel to work on a vehicle with a small electrical gremlin?

Its a Defender, so maybe even an enthusiast who is handy in this department.

    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately its stationary at the moment...

Power is not getting to the main relay which in turn is meaning the fuel pump won't kick in. It will turn over no problem but you actually have to manually hold in the contacts on the relay for the fuel pump to engage.

Minor issue but I don't want to go near electrics, thanks for the advice daingeanrob he had crossed my mind alright

Common problem (Td5 I assume), relay works loose and arcs and burns out. Get a new relay and clean and squeeze the contacts in the plug.

It is a Td5 alright, I have a new relay ordered at the local ford garage. When I'm sticking in the new one you reckon to just clean out the contact points in the plug should suffice? Hope its just this, anyhow, thanks a million for your input.
