Insulation for under tiles

Any new material out there now that I could put directly under tiles to improve the thermal properties of an existing floor. Busting out the existing floor is not an option. Marmox boards are the only type I've used. They're top quality and come in various thicknesses but they're a bit pricey. Good Tile shops can order these.

Cheers, Just price that board there on the net and me thinks I'll just throw an extra log on the fire cause I would never ( in my own lifetime anyways ) see a return on the cost that insulation board would incur

10-12mm is nothing worth talking about, and your dead right you would never see a return on your investment because
very little heat is lost through the floor anyways as heat rises its lost through the roof windows and walls.
