Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Has anyone heard that some high profile hotels in limerick may be facing closure? ie the Hilton???
    Getting married there next year so we are getting very worried

    Have heard about some other hotels, but not the Hilton. Probably just people spreading misheard rumours.

    SERIOUS doubts have been cast on the future of several Limerick hotels after Dunne Group petitioned the High Court to be placed into examinership at the weekend.
    Management and staff at the Two Mile Inn and Patrick Punch's Hotels face a nervous 67 days, in which the High Court-appointed examiner will attempt to devise a financial rescue plan.

    No mention of the hilton anyways, but it could be a sign of things to come in the future. Hopefully not though.
