Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've had it since around July (the Dublin card) and everything other than PPV main cards have been shown (I'm in Ireland). I don't expect it to be any different this time.

I took it that anything on BT here was blacked out on fight pass.

That's quite strange, I watched all of the prelims last weekend on Fight Pass without using a proxy.

Did you remember to switch from the fightpass prelim stream to the regular prelim stream?

Edit: have a look here. You shouldn't have had any problems:

It won't be different you're right.

I've had it awhile meself trying it on the free first, reactivated it since November as there was a bunch of events upcoming I had interest in. Apart from numbered events everything has been available. BT showing most of the Fightpass cards too has had no bearing if it did there'd not be much value subscribing to Fightpass .

Had no issue with 182 prelims either and watched TUF finale live too which someone seems to suggest was blacked out.

Nope, because BT broadcast all the fight nights live anyway.

Rockhold v Bisping wasn't broadcast live (was shown just not live) but ya most are.

Has there been any announcement about the weigh ins - where will they be on and how do I get access to them?

Not a patch on boxing?? The majority of a boxing fight is two lads following each other around a ring throwing the odd punch.... How exciting!!

Sold my fight ticket in a few hours on Boston's CraigsList if anyone is stuck to sell. It went rapid.

Louis Taylor injured, Uriah Hall without an opponent for Boston card again
Uriah Hall has been left without an opponent. Again.
Louis Taylor has injured his back and will have to pull out of his fight with Hall at UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Siver on Jan. 18 in Boston, UFC officials confirmed with MMAFighting.com on Sunday. The news was initially broken by Karyn Bryant of FOX Sports.
Crappy news. Was looking forward to that fight. Doubt they'll find an opponent for him now. I suppose the silver lining is that Pendred could possibly be bumped up to the main card.

More fuel to his ego yay

Gutted for hall, really really like him and hoped this would set him back on track!

hall??? are you serious?? he's a superbly talented martial artist who seems to struggle in the cage for some reason, in terms of being as good as he could be. BUT he's an abnoxious wan!er... he reminds me someone like john jones in terms of arrogance. He had a awful attitude on TUF.

Pretry sure they meant Pendred not Hall.

Sorry I thought the post was referring to Pendred.

Hall is a funny fish. He has amazing ability but seems to struggle with his confidence, as it appears to fluctuate wildly.

oh right , sorry bout that. jeepers what allows pendred to even have an ego.
Wouldn't rate him for an undercard any day.

Yes there will.I watched something earlier "UFC minute" I think it's called (made by the UFC) and the presenter said that embedded will start on Thursday .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,739 ✭✭✭ASOT

Theres never usually any embeddeds for fight night events, shows how much audience pull Conor really has if there is one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,904 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

Not surprised there will be a conor embedded (as if siver will get 2 words in) after conor nearly got more footage in embedded for aldo vs mendez and he wasn't even on the card.

The location for the weigh ins is TBD at the moment. The doors open at 4pm to the public so I'm presume it will be first come, first served.

Does anybody know of another way of assuring entry to the weigh ins?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,970 ✭✭✭Lenin Skynard

The Q&A before the weigh ins is with Jose Aldo. Would be interesting if all the Irish fans showed up for it and gave him the same treatment that Conor got in Rio.

I hope we'd be a bit classier but wouldn't be opposed to some rick flair wooooooing.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,970 ✭✭✭Lenin Skynard

Yeah I agree, I didn't like their behaviour but a bit of Irish style friendly slagging would be a good response I think.

Jesus christ, either read through the thread where it has been answered, Or the McGregor thread, or google it.

    BT Sports.

It would have been far quicker to just type that.

At work so didnt have time to read through the thread. We were just wondering during a discussion. Google was just telling me FOX sports.

Im mad with myself for having to explain that but anyway!!

I'm sick of getting notifications, thinking its something of interest about the fight or sport and seeing someone ask a question that was discussed at length and asked on nearly every page so far.

    Its on BT.

I'm well aware of that he'll be popular. I just don't think it will sell out so quick so as to make it difficult to get tickets.

American events don't tend to sell out as fast as overseas events.

It still isn't sold out. Americans are slow to buy tickets, I imagine there'll be a few tickets bought on a whim at the weekend.

More that a lot of locals wouldnt commit knowing the Patriots could have clashed with it. If they'd lost at the weekend I'd say it would be sold out by now. There aren't too many tickets left which is still pretty impressive.
