Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Flying from Dublin to Manchester and it says for the carry on baggage on the website...

    Standard Allowance
One single piece of cabin baggage.
    All carry-on must be within the size dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 24cm.
    Aer Lingus Regional size limits are 48cm x 33cm x 20cm.
    Etihad Codeshare flights size limits are 60cm x 35cm x 20cm.
Your carry-on must fit inside the gauge units at the airport & not exceed 10kgs in weight (7kgs for Aer Lingus Regional and Etihad Codeshare flights)

Is a flight from Dublin to Manchester classed as a regional flight?

They use a mix on the Manchester route. If the flight code is EI 3xxx then it's regional (Aer Arann/Stobart), the others are regular Airbus planes with the larger overhead bins.

So you'll need to watch the code for your return flight as that could be a plane with the smaller bins.

On the Aer Arann planes the bins are even smaller under the (overhead) wings so don't panic if you find your bag won't fit, just move forward or back and you'll find the bins are bigger.
