Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Legal separation date

Hi guys, like so many here I'm going through the separation process. While speaking to the ex she has asked me to agree on a date that we separated. I have no problem with this but the date is well before we actually separated. Is there any significance to March 2012? I'd like to move on with my life as quickly as possible so if there's no monetary implications with this date I'd be ok with it.
I've paid for legal advice before and was told that as there are no kids involved that it was as simple as adding the assets and the debts together then splitting them between the two of us (very simplified version of the conversation).
Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
    B

You can't begin the divorce process til 4 years after your date of separation. Maybe she wants to get a head start.
