My daughter's Focus (05, 1.4 LX) - the engine immobilisation light flashes on and off, when the car is moving. Sometimes, it stays on for about 3 seconds, before it starts to flash again. Sometimes, it stays off (as it should when the engine is on). It seems to have no effect on the performance of the car. Any ideas as…

My daughter's Focus (05, 1.4 LX) - the engine immobilisation light flashes on and off, when the car is moving. Sometimes, it stays on for about 3 seconds, before it starts to flash again. Sometimes, it stays off (as it should when the engine is on).

It seems to have no effect on the performance of the car. Any ideas as what is causing it and how to fix it?
