    May I suggest a happier alternative to the 'Dearly Departed' one? Anyone else want to add any birthdays? How about your own?

    Happy birthday to Cliff, 75 this week and still doing his thang at the Royal Albert Hall this week. Darn, trouble inserting the photos. I know I did it successfully before.

    But JB, having birthdays is just a reminder of how we are moving ever near to the DD thread!

    But anyway, when is yours? I will reveal mine a bit nearer to the time - couple of months or more yet!

    I saw Cliff at the RAH about 50 years ago (dear lord, I will skip over that fast!) when he did a guest appearance at a Methodist youth rally that I used go to every year in my teens.

    What's so significant about antiquarians then? :)

    Anyhoo, I've no birthdays for today.....I checked with Mr Google and he said all the famous people who were born on this date are far too young to be celebrated here. :p

    All right, someone has to do it. Happy Birthday William Shakespeare. You destroyed many a child's school days. But not mine, 'cos I never studied your work. But I have enjoyed the few plays I have seen in my adult life so thumbs up for that much anyway.
