Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Short story - we're looking for a nice hotel/B&B/accommodation to stay for one night next weekend - probably in the general Fermoy-Dungarvan area.

Long story - we're dropping the mini-zags off near Lismore for a couple of days next weekend and are looking for suggestions for somewhere nice to stay by ourselves for one night.

We're not so much looking for a 5 start hotel as just somewhere nice that we can roll up to in the afternoon (having off-loaded the kids), kick back and unwind. In the morning a long leisurely breakfast would be good (rather than a coffee/croissant sort of affair).

Location is flexible. We're ultimately heading back towards Dublin so anywhere en-route is fine.

In other words - can you recommend somewhere different to stay in that corner of the country?

    Thanks,

    z

There is also a nice spot called Richmond House which is close by.

I would suggest the cliff house in Ardmore its 5 star and quiet expensive but the location and views are stunning.

Ardmore is beautiful small seaside village with a lovely beach. For the record I have no connection with the cliff house or Ardmore except as a satisfied visitor
