Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right, got a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo pro. Running XP. Hard drive is seen in BIOS and will start to boot XP. But it never loads. Scroll bar just keeps moving, and windows will not finish loading, Got a windows boot disk and tried to to a repair install. No joy, When i select R for repair it says no hard drive is present. The same happens for a fresh install. Got my UBCD and that doesn't see the hard disk either. Got Ubuntu live CD and everything works fine. I can access the hard drive with no problems. Anyone got any ideas what wrong?

Try a BIOS flash, might be a bit flaky.

Put another hard drive into the laptop and still the same problem. Windows disk doesn't recognise the hard drive. The disk is seen in the BIOS and starts to boot. It recognises windows was not shut down correctly and gives option of safe mode etc. None of the options work. In normal mode the scroll bar just keeps scrolling. It doesn't stall like what you'd normally see a windows system do. In safe mode it stops at mup.sys, doubt this is the problem.

Probably looking at a new motherboard..
