Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi ladies, I think maybe I should post this in fashion and appearance? But I figure I'll get a good response here. Do ye have tips for fixing a broken nail, I'm growing mine but they sometimes slit at the side, despite me using good polish. Can I do it with nail glue? Thanks!

Superglue. Its way better than any nail glue Ive tried and its easy to spread and you only need a drop. I use a cold sore plastic circle - cant rem the name of it at the mo as having a good nail run! - but basically, drop of glue on that and then onto the nail. Hold, try not to stick finger to nail as I frequently do - and there you go! An emergency fix until you get to a manicurist. :)

If you can find salons doing Jessica treatments they have a range of products called names like Lifejacket that strengthen nails with problems like yours.

Also, if you can find one of them that did the advanced course in October they can actually repair broken nails as well as do nail transplants!

I did the course though am concentrating more on massage at the moment but can recommend Louise in the Citywest Hotel who also did the advanced course if you're in Dublin?
