Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fitting alot of the lowara myself. They seem to have got the electromagnetic working right. And lowara seem to be quite reliable in the wells and booster pump area.

grundfos have been recalled twice. First lot were breaking motorised valves or something. Second lot were eating themselves.

Dunno about your ones. The dabs can be set to 4, 5, or 7 metre head

Grundfos ups 2. Fitted 20 odd no call backs.... Yet! Now come with suppresser leads makes it untidy in some situations as a junction box is needed. Not happy.

Fitted 3 dabs... No call backs. Might go for the dab more now.

    Are they ok ?
I fitted a few of the old standard ones and had problems if you touched / changed the speed selector ( TUCSON ). Very flimsy switch, motor seemed ok, so I'm not sure if I'd trust them for a long life. How are the new type ?

Grundfos seem to be troublesome now while before they were my first choice and then Willo / Samsom.

Dont know yet about reliability and are a bit noisy on a system with low pressure ..interpart are doing a modulating pump aswell for a 100 incl

No you buy what size you need but iv a habit unless its a very small system of fitting a 6 metre. They can modulate themselves right down to just 5 watt so no disadvantages as far as I can see. Bigger motor under less stress will probably last longer too. For about 10 euro more
