Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My trusty Macbook harddrive is starting to get a bit full, and i need more storage, so i've been thinking of upgrading the hard drive that's installed.

I rarely use the optical drive, so i'm thinking of replacing that with a a second hard drive, and replacing the stock drive with an SSD.

Has anyone here done such an upgrade, and could you recommend which drives i should buy to do the work?

Mine is a late 2011 MBP and I put in a 1TB Samsung 840 EVO SSD in to mine and it is just brilliant.

Yeah go with an SSD... its well worth the money. Did it in my MacPro and it transformed an already fast machine. Easy to do in the MacBook Pro. If you are stuck have a look over on ifixit.com for loads of tutorials! https://www.ifixit.com/Search?query=macbook
