Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If there are any boardsie senior riders from the general area of the day who would like to ride/mentor with the groups on the day, please get in touch with me as the more there are the safer we can make it.Might be a hang sambo in it for you.

Yes definitely. Thanks for the reminder..Spins will be 3 different lengths so it would be nice to have a few experienced riders to stay with dropped riders etc.Already we plan to have teams in Junior Tour and Ras na N'og for the younger ones.

A few of our new Young Swordsies might be interested in this. Great initiative.

Had someone from your club on to me already.Excluding U12s this time given the time of year, but wont be ignored going forward.Riders need to be born 2002 or before.

Huge huge uptake to date...Me thinks this sport of ours is really cool with youngsters at present.

As an extension to the training day,and thanks to our friends at Orwell Wheelers the U12s will now be catered for on the same day with a get together and activities at Corcaigh Park from 12 midday until 2pm.
Just turn up on the day and they will be catered for..

Details of the U12 event are available at http://www.orwellwheelers.org/forum/9-training/4658-orwell-youth-training-leinster-training-day#8667

If you're with a Leinster club, please make sure your youth riders are aware of it, and encourage them to come along. All U12s welcome!

Good day up talking to the riders, thanks to wav for letting me talk to them all in the clubhouse.

Great turnout out today and all went off well. One little mishap in that a rider who lost contact was missing for a little while but all got back in fine.Nearly 100 riders across the 3 x categories in near perfect January weather conditions.Spins led by experienced senior riders including the current ranked A1 rider in the country who was part of our youth and Junior Leinster teams not that long ago.Informative talk from Tom Mc Gowan who is to be the Leinster rep on the new National youth academy. Thanks to Pawlie for his insight in to the developing of young athletes, and thanks to the many ride leaders and helpers on the day,who all gave of their time freely and at no cost.
