Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need to hire or borrow a bike

I hope someone out there can help me, I have a friend travelling from the US at the end of the month and as part of her visit she is taking part in a cycling charity event and needs a bike. She has looked into bringing her own bike from the US but the airline charges are excessive. I am living in Dublin and offered to help try and find her a suitable bike, please help.

She is trying to hirer or borrow a bike of reasonable quality, she has a Specialized Ruby Expert size small in the US and is hoping to get something of a similar level if at all possible.

The bike will be well look after and normal rules apply "you bend you mend"

    Thanks

Last year I set up a small cycling holiday company in Wicklow and have some good road bikes for sale and for hire.
A couple of people on here have used them before.
We use Sensa Toscana carbon with full 105. They have been used on some triathlons and sportives and are perfect for what your friend is looking for.
We also have a very small Dolan carbon with campag chorus if the Sensa is too big.
You can check out the Sensa on our web site
