Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sweden Bridges Beauty Everywhere??

    Excuse my ignorance but is there an unreal abundance of bridges and water with amazing scenery all over sweden?? I was looking at google maps and just dropping the streetview marker in any old random spot as you do, and more times than not it landed on a bridge with water or snow to both sides and amazing scenery all around.. So is it just random or is it a google algorithm to entice people to visit Sweden or is it actually that commonplace?

    I'm not clicking photos I am literaly dragging and dropping the street view icon in random spots!! I really do think google is behind this because it is too many in a row for it to be mere coincidence.. Try it yourself and see what you get!!

    I went to Sweden once when Ryanair used to call Malmo Airport - Copenhagen.

    And true to form OP, the first thing I encountered in Sweden was this bridge to Denmark (where I wanted to go in the first place).

    I was happy enough traipsing across this never ending bridge and trying to catch up on some sleep down the back of a bus going from one grossly expensive Scandanavian kingdom to another when suddenly, the sneaky thing turned into a tunnel.

    It was proof to me that you never know what to expect when you fly with Ryanair.

    I'm just glad I wasn't in the horrors that morning.

    Some feckin Bridge/Tunnel though.

    I just tried it and got a couple of nice bridges after 7 attempts.

    However I just zoomed out to the whole world, closed my eyes, swirled the mouse and dropped randomly.

    I got this beauty of a result! The Peterhof Palace in St Petersburg!
