I don't care about his background prior to this, but he's a scumbag for selling those places to people who were trying to make homes for themselves.

It just keeps getting better and better, after Seanie and the boys were arrested another Celtic Tiger chancer had a warrant issued for his arrest yesterday.

Thats right, former IRA terrorist and all round chancer McFeely could be the next one heading to the joy.Small comfort to all the people he cheated though.

he is a hypocrite as well. going on hunger strike but filing for backrupcy in the uk to avail of more lenient laws.

I struggle to think of a more complete sell out than this guy - going from a blanket man and hunger striker, presumably a socialist republican, to this. What a disgrace he has become.

Good friends with Anthony McIntyre of Boston College tape infamy, mackers used to work for him.

It's like two completely different people for the price of one.

In better times he'd be running for the Dáil and getting in.

Happy to see he has just be declared Bankrupted in the High Court.

Pity the prison will be a better quality build than his Priory Hall apartments.
He'd be the first to complain of a leaky roof in the cell.

Judging by his behaviour and disrespect for others, he didn't have to change much.

Oh God. Now we're going to have Niamh bloody Horan taking the credit for single-handedly catching him, dragging him back to Ireland!

Probelm is, they know where Darragh Quinn is (Fermanagh) and he's already been convicted and sentenced and the still can't get him into jail. What chacne do they hav with McFeely when he's in Portugal?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I'm sure his wife/partner/children/nephews have salted enough of his wealth away that he'll still be comfortable tbh.

The State should exile the pair of them so that their escape from jurisdiction becomes their punishment.

Keeping up appearances is important to them both in their business and if it would make things even slightly more awkward for them the next time they're looking for funding or whatever it would be enough... or at least better than nothing.

 Know a retired plasterer who worked with McFeely when he was a blocklayer, I think.
He was known as "Nailbomb" McFeely.

Despite an active warrant for his arrest being in circulation, gardai made no attempt to arrest him as he left the Four Courts today!

How many of the inspectors have been arrested so far? You half expect this kind of craic from developers but the fire safety officers are supposed to protect people from the developers. They're in a blind panic now trying to catch up on all the work they didn't do during the boom and still haven't a clue what they're supposed to be doing.

That McFeely family look like they all need to go on a hunger strike.
