Shame about the hugely limited poll but i'd say Gibson. That said I'm saving up for a Tele. Epiphone make some nice guitars eg. Sheraton, Emperor. One of the Strokes has a nice one. Electric I'd plum for PRS. Acoustic, proBerly Martin.

yeh the poll is very limited, but even if it had all the major manufactuers it would be impossible to pick one, as each guitar has different kind of sounds to it.

i picked gibson as i have a les paul, but other than that i plan to buy a strat in the summer hopefully pending on work status

I remember doing one of these yonks ago and getting the same resonse. The biggest problem is that there just isn't enough scope within the poll to stop people bitching. I think mine just turned into a big debate though instead of flaming so maybe that'll happen here too?

A fender strat does it all
Washburn/bc rich for metal
Gibson a nice rock/metal sound

I'm just getting a few bits and bobs for the bandroom as cheap as possible.
Got my eye on this mic stand at the moment which has one of those bendy style lamp arms instead of a boom. You know, same kid of style as the pixar logo lamp.

Yeah. Just like Matt Bellamy.

If the GT-8 is much like the GT-6, there's one annoying thing with it where you can't program more than one effect to a single bank, aswell as not being able to use more than one effect from the same group. I don't know if that makes any sense. But either way. Try before you buy.

There is no best manufacture. There all equally good at what they do!!
I mean I've a fender, PRS and Gibson and there all good in there own right.

As the doc said the Eggle are amazing guitars. There well up there as top guitars. Its all down to taste and preference

Every maufacture has its good products to its bad products. I mean even some of the Gibsons coming out of the factory's these days are not near the quality that the asking price is. I mean fender have there mexico, PRS have there korea. As does most major manufactures.

So really there is no best guitar making in my view. They all have something to offer the musical instrument world....
