    Well Lads,

    Only after moving up to Dublin, living in the city center and free almost every evening after 5pm.

    Descent player, played at high level in my youth and play club still, looking for a regular weekly game or even the odd game when people are stuck.

    I'm able to play on short notice too, so give me pm shout if you're stuck

    Looking for a few subs for a weekly game of 5 a side Astro, DCU 7-8pm, Tuesday evening, half decent standard, nice set of lads, we have the regular 10 but between the odd injury and summer hols , there’s always a sub or 2 needed, so if you’re interested, drop me a pm .

    I'm looking for a mid week 11 a side game if there is one going. I'm 41, and have been playing over 35's Div 2 Sunday, but family commitments mean I'm struggling for time on the weekend. I'm based North side, but happy to travel for a game.

    astro.ie leagues run out of Benildus College in stillorgan, Columcilles in knocklyon and Wesley in Dundrum. That's not in your area but if you're desperate...

    I don't know that there's a team looking for players exactly but if you're eager you could pop down one night and hawk yourself to the teams playing. It's a casual league with one 60 minute match a week and no training. Alternatively there's a part of the astro.ie website where you can post if you're looking for a game although I'm not sure if it's actually monitored.

    To all readers

    I run two 5aside slots in UCD on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7 pm. We are long established, 16 years running on the Thursday and are looking for any new player that would like to play each week, either or both slots. Our standard is around Champion's League level while the game is being played, but afterwards we realise it's probably in between social and competitive. We have some pretty good players and then a few who aren't, and age range would be considerable. It's all fun kept on the pitch. If you think you'd like to play 5aside in that sort of culture please pm me. New term in UCD about to start so no problem to come down for a free game and check we all don't have two heads! pm if interested, thanks.

    Any player showing up with two heads will have to give up the second head before playing. Don't listen to those guys in Wesley, they play very late...
