Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

damage to parked car from flying stone

    Looking for advice.Left the wife sitting in the car while i went in to collect chinese take-away.A passing car drove over a pot-hole in the middle of the road,throwing up stones the size of your fist.One of these stones hit the side of drivers door,leaving 2 nice dents.I dont think the hole was too new as there were plenty of other similiar stones/rocks around the area.
    The hole is in the middle of a trench which had been dug across the road and then filled in at some stage.
    My question is do i have any recourse with the local county council?

    If pothole caused by elements, no, look up non-feasance.

    If caused by defective roadworks, maybe, lookup misfeasance.
