Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am eating rashers for breakfast with bullet coffee (butter and cream).
    Cheese for lunch.
And then meat, mayo with a fried egg for dinner.

And losing weight and feeling great.

Sorry to repeat it, but I don't fear fats anymore, I fear sugar,
Google LCHF/ LCHF diet doctor / LCHF cereal killers

not very good for the cholesterol surely ???

If you replace the sugar with fat - butter, cream etc - it satisfies you and you don't crave sugar.

I am having NO chocolate cravings whatsoever. (on LCHF lifestyle)

    The joys of lactose intolerance.
Normally have porridge for breakfast, salad for lunch, meat veg and butternut squash for dinner and snack on popcorn nuts dark chocolate. But yeah if I eat any sweets whatsoever its a slippery road.
I do gain weight very quickly but I can lose it just as quickly.

Think the whole weight thing is gas how people will pass comment on others so easily but to be fair we don't know what its like to walk in someone else s shoes. For instance if you get less nutrition in the womb you're apparently more likely to be obese due to an increased appetite.

I appreciate his efforts but I do think the fight against obesity in Ireland needs a more charismatic figurehead, he is boring and kinda condescending in my opinion

    I think he's great

Don't know much about gastric bands, but if that lady just started eating properly and doing a bit of exercise would she not start to lose some of that weight while she is waiting for the gastric band?

Google LCHF and cholesterol to see the science behind it. You need to get behind just reading cholesterol alone, cholesterol is made up of small and large particles. This diet can up your cholesterol yes, but it is the small particles that are the problem, not the large ones which go up on this diet. (The small ones are the ones that clog your arteries by lodging, the large ones pass through)

sometimes a person needs a surgical procedure to become well again

I think the question should have been put to Donal O'Shea... "Are you saying that it is not possible for certain people to lose weight without having a gastric band inserted".... I was always under the impression that if you worked out the maths and followed a plan then the weight would come off...

Exactly, I can't imagine it is easy for her, she is well aware of her health problems and strangers pointing it out on the street (and elsewhere.....) to her is often more damaging and regressive to her recovery. Best of luck to her.

Did anybody catch what he said about a certain percent of your body fat being able to be lost in like eighteen months or something? Was it 10%?

Jesus anytime ive cut out sugar its like giving up fags for the first few days at least. Personally as an adult I would always be considered by others to be of a healthy weight but actually go from a low to plus 8kg and back down again, always an extreme of gaining or losing never balanced.

Sounds like a case of "carb flu" when you cut out the sugar. Push through it!! It will go away

Makes you wonder did they ever make any money at all from Westlife. I thought by now with the sales they would have a good €10 million a piece and retire to the golf course.

Did any of them write songs as most of their big hits were covers

I hope Mark does well, he don't have Syco or Lulu Walsh behind him and he was always quite and shy during media appearances and interviews and also sometimes seemed uncomfortable taking during concerts, powerful voice though

I'm just watching the repeat now. I thought Mark came across very well. I met him a few times through a mutual friend in '99 2000 when he was 18 or 19. He seemed very down to earth then and hadn't let showbiz/fame go to his head. I thought Brendan spent too long on the gay thing. Mark came out a good few years ago now and it's no big deal anymore.
