Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Form 11 Accountant

Hi, I have been told I need to file a Form 11 for 2013(and next year and possibly the year after that as well). I was in PAYE employment until about October, then I became a 50% director of a company(company never traded as far as I know..). I got back in PAYE employment this year but am still director until we start the strikeoff either later this year or early next.

I have read the form and got some guidance from the other director, but I still am not confident at all in filling it out- it was easier for him because he has done it in previous years, and it got posted to him- nothing was sent to me, do I still need to fill it in? He also submitted it months ago so I think that means there are less calculations?

Anyway, where can I pay someone to fill this in for me? Specific recommendations of accountants in Dublin please.. What information do I need to give them?

Considered applying for ROS, but I don't even know how to answer the questions on the application form. Help.

if you are obliged to submit a return and you don't then you will be subject to a surcharge on late filing of the return based on your paye income - its a totally mad system. where are you based and do you actually have any income for 2013 and if so what type of income?

Dublin, and the only income I had in 2013 was from PAYE, a job that ended last October and soon after I became a director of a company. I am obliged to use Form 11 because I am a director, but I did not have any income from the company or any other sources.
