    Its actually more of a question to the mods of AH. How does it work? do you work in shifts? do you 'cover' for one another when you are all..

    Rabies does it too, due to being in NZ....and having rabies...tricky to sleep when you have rabies...

    I just wondered why someone might like to do such a thing? Only its seems to be a big commitment. I like to check in regularly, because I've gotten to know some really great people here. But I do so as I please. But being a mod takes commitment. Trolly threads, moving sh1t around, infractions and bannings...

    Doesn't it all wear off quickly?

    I hear that,frankly I'd love to be a mod of a forum,(a small forum,that is) but where as AH ?!??!

    That's where all the trolls and spammers come to feast! Too big a job methinks.......ugh and for what? Kudos Points!? :pac:

    Its 2:20pm NZ time now. I work in the afternoons until anything up to 7am in the morning. So I'm around during the night time and day time more so at weekends or if I pull a late night

    What are the criteria for modship? Obviously you must show a genuine interest in the topic(s) being discussed on the forum in question, but do you need to pass a certain posts-threshold? Do you need to pay a subscription to boards? Just something I've often thought to myself "Ooh, how do they get that post?"

    I don't know myself actually, I just log in and find new forums under my name. They tend to disappear after about 3 months and be replaced by new ones. I'm pretty sure it's all one massive practical joke
